To create a dynamic strategy to propel the Madison Valley Aquatic Center team towards its goal of building an incredible aquatic center that will act as a community access point, the Governing Board of Directors and consultant, Linda B. Haley, CFRE, conducted a full-day strategic planning process.
In five years, MVAC will be a focused and functioning nonprofit, housed in a state-of-the-art facility, that is the center of family and civic activity in the Madison Valley, providing premier health, safety, and recreation options to the local and regional community.
MVAC exists to strengthen our community by offering opportunities for health and success through water safety, education, and recreation.
Respect - We promise to respect our swim families, our company and ourselves.
Commitment - We will provide the best experience we can to every person we serve in the Madison Valley.
Growth - We will take the steps necessary to grow both personally and professionally.
Safety - We will strive to make sure that every swimmer who leaves our program feels confident in water safety.
Willingness - We will do whatever it takes to achieve our primary goal of creating life-long swimmers.
Teamwork - We will work together in harmony and achieve success.
Build the Aquatic Center - with private donations and grants from individuals, businesses, and foundations.
Operate the Aquatic Center - on a self-sustaining basis with reasonable membership and program fees.
Asset to the Madison Valley - serving everyone in our community whether financially, physically, or developmentally challenged.
Establish an Endowment - for future capital improvements and maintenance.
Develop an Aquatic Center - mindful of future additions and enhancements that will benefit the center and community as a whole.
